ESP LTD EX50 Electric Guitar

ESP LTD EX50 Electric GuitarAgathis Body. Maple Neck.

The aggressively stylish EX50 features a large, resonant body and hot ESP LH-100 humbuckers for superior tone. This is another easy to play instrument with 22 extra jumbo frets on a Rosewood fingerboard. ESP has spent years perfecting radical designs like this and now they’re able to offer them at downright unbelievable prices. Other features include an Agathis body, a rock solid tune -o- matic bridge with a stop tailpiece, and black hardware.

Feature:
Humbuckers are beautiful, a nice amp and head it sounds awsome. nice and simple the way you sure like it. The paint on the body is nice, and the black chrome hardware is awesome. They kind a sparkles when you look at it in the light.

Quality:
Quality is very good. As all ESP are supreme in quality. Though you did accidently rip your volume knob off accidently. Oh and the screw that is near the neck ripped out when yanked on your guitar. Other than that it is a great product. Again, all Ltd’s come standard with great playability, but they also come with a GREAT paint job, no chipping, rarely dents, and doesn’t show scratches much. And even though, your getting the lowest quality out of Ltd, your still getting the best for the price. And even the bottom end stuff is really great. Again for the money, it’s top of the line. ESP makes nothing crappy, all quality products.

Sound:
Very good, especially with a good amplifier like line 6 or Marshall. those are the best for this guitar. You might wanna get some emg pickups or just get some other guitar later, probably after 2 years of playing. The neck is very fast, the action is relatively low, pickups are very responsive (considering they are stock esp pickups), overall a fantastic sound. You do not see your self purchasing any guitars in the future (not unless this breaks). This guitar is a shred machine, a friend of mine (who plays a agile les Paul model) picked this up and commented on how easy it was to shred on. This guitar rocks and Metallica. in every single way. works for everything and its amazing playing your favorite songs and sounding just like the recording

Value:
There is no other guitar better than this for the price. He will fight you if you disagree!. AWSOME value for all the quality, materials, electronics, hardware, and the best playability. Its all good.

Poe nominal value, but this versus the more expensive versions, the only real difference is the wood(s) and pickups (and as far as pickups, its cheaper to buy the ones you want and have them installed than buying the more expensive model of the guitar). It was worth every penny.

Ease of Use:
This guitar sounds good on any amp, its very comfortable sitting down or standing. It has the BEST playability ever. Its so easy to use and you sounds absolutely amazing. One of the fastest necks ever. Regardless of a bolt-on neck. You can shred like Kirk hammett!. Capable addapted to the shape because it proves very comfortable when doing the immense ammount of palm muting during many of my songs.

Desirability:
It’s an old explorer style. It’s hell a sexy. It gives you great pleasure. It definitely has a very strong presence. No matter how fat, ugly, or stupid you may look, with this guitar in your hands your a god. It definatly stands out hanging on the wall with my other guitars, although it may not be the most expensive.

Overall:
As long as this guitar is satisfied with it. You can’t beat the price, the look is bad ass, and this is just perfect for any metallica thrash metal fan!. Anyone who is starting to play, or just looking to get a cheap guitar to hot rod, get an Ltd. ALL AROUND AWSOME. Wonderful guitar, you can’t believe how cheap it is!!! everyone needs to add this to their collection.

Overall great starting guitar, but you will feel you need change for quality eventually. He actually currently saving up for a Jackson RR3 Pro because at a certain point u will either get new pickups or just buy a new guitar… even when i get my RR3 i can see myself playing this guitar.

ESP LTD EC50 Electric Guitar

ESP LTD EC50 Electric GuitarESP has done something very cool with their new EC50. They’ve started with a classic design, and added their own unique touches like beveled body contours, sculpted cutaway access to the upper frets, and 24 extra jumbo frets  and they’ve made it affordable enough for even beginners! The EC50 has ESP LH100 humbucking pickups, a Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and Black hardware.

Feature:
It came with a chord and an ESP catalog. But didn’t get a manual. Just a warranty tag. Ended up finding a manual at a dealer. As far as the guitar, electronics seem to be holding up. The tuners only last from one to two hours depending on how you play. It could use some locking tuners. The knobs came off after a while but it was ok (I got better ones). other than that it’s great.

An allen wrench, chord, warranty card, and a catalog came with the guitar. Really like having two volume knobs, so when use distortion, lower the neck pickup volume to where only get a clean sound, so you have three different sounds with a flick of the 3 way switch.
You like the jumbo frets and shorter scale works better for me because I have smaller hands. The lc100 pickups work well and the hardware is pretty sturdy. This guitar’s finish is beautiful, it’s like a dream. The picture doesn’t do it enough justice.  Love everything about it. From the glossy black finish to the matte black knobs and tuning machines. This flashy piece o’ work’ll get you noticed

Quality:
This sexy beast has a high quality that could definitely be used on the road and give you great sound for years to come. Some of the best quality I’ve seen on a $200 dollar guitar, ESP must’ve busted their backs on this one. The tuning machines need adjusting every now and then(but which ones don’t?), but nothings fallen off and it looks good as new despite me owning it for a little over 7 months. The guitar is made ok. Because all tone knobs fell off and had to put them back on and have to retighten them often.

One of the strap things is loose and can’t seem to get it back in. That is the only thing bad about it. but it is very durable. You have never had to replace volume knobs though. The problem with the screws and jack at the plug in. Also have this annoying buzzing that stared recently from the high e string lightly touching the first fret.

Sound:
Great and clean sound With an  Amp’s Overdrive feature. Love The fact that Metallica’s James Hatfield uses ESP’s Too . Weather its playing in my modern rock cover band, original band or the 80’s Tribute band, this guitar can do it all. This axe is much better with some distortion.

The reason the boy  gave it a seven is because its annoying when the lower notes cover up or distort the high notes. You can play quite a variety of music from hard rock like Metallica or lighter old styles like lynyrd skynyrd.

Value:
This is a nice instrument for the price. Usually a guitar of this quality would cost more than $200. But May you are not sure. The dude bought it for 150$. it has an awesome sound for a guitar of that price. Check Latest Price.

Ease of Use:
This guitar is pretty easy to move from one sound to another .  Very playable easy to pick up and play. You can reach almost all your chords and notes with ease. The only thing that could be a problem is the fact that its hard to reach the higher up frets. The fretboard is rosewood, which I prefer, and is very easy to break in. Nice jumbo frets, giving any player an edge.

Desirability:
This beast molds to your body when you play it standing up by the way it is made. Which is very cool kind a wish it had the cool scales that the higher ECs have want to buy another in black.

The finish is outstanding; you are just waiting for your first ding. The body really like has all the Les Paul design and how it has the curves on the edges. It molds to your body.

Overall:
This guitar is a godsend. I would recommend this for not only beginners but, also experienced players. I still play it every day.It is a nice guitar for the price, but I would like to upgrade to an EC 1000, or an SZ720FM. The problem is money, though, because the EC 1000 costs about $800 and the SZ720 costs $650, but I’d easily spend $150 upgrading it with some DiMarzios.

I am incredibly satisfied with this instrument, but if your planning on dropping some active humbuckers in it, it may need some work and money to arrange the passive setup into an active setup. I was going to drop EMG-81’s in but it cost too much. The sound is incredible, but you think you would have payed less to just buy another ESP with 81’s already installed. Reflective finish, strong tone, easy control, and a bang that will blow you away. Buy it.

Silvertone SSL3 Electric Guitar

Silvertone SSL3 Electric GuitarThis vintage traditional carved arch top single cutaway body with set neck design combined with the rosewood fingerboard, dual humbucking pick-ups and chrome die cast tuners, gives you the style and features of the professionals. Enjoy incredible sustain with the set neck and carved top combined with the dual humbucking pickups. Beautiful flamed tiger stripe top add to this classic design. The smooth, rich sound of the Silvertone Session Master Pro can be yours along with all the extras, such as the Silvertone Smart III amp, tuner, strings, strap, instructional DVD and gig bag. The Silvertone Session Master Pro is truly a classic.

Was looking for a smaller electric that would be easier on my back (have a full-size you could anchor a boat with) and easier to travel with. This guitar is no toy, unlike many other mini electrics you see for sale. Easy to play once you adjust to the shorter scale, sounds nice. The single cutaway Silvertone SSL3 is a great guitar to play and own. It delivers a raw, bluesy power that you expect from the classic design of dual humbuckers, making it great for lead or rhythm guitar players.

Feature:
Circa 2003-2004, Tobacco Sunburst version made in Indonesia, this is one of the most complete Les Paul designs on the market. 22 Fret cream-bound rosewood fretboard, Maple Bent Top, 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 2 Chrome Humbucking Pickups, Tobacco Sunburst finish, Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, Flame Maple top, Les Paul body style, Tune-O-Matic Bridge with stop tailpiece, generic Grover-style smooth tuners.

Quality:
The guitar is beautiful. Minor defects. (chipped fret markers) but hardly noticeable. And it doesn’t scratch easy. This particular guitar seems to have been through very stringent quality control. It take some big drops and not even get a scratch
Especially for the money! Great workmanship, love the frets-polished/very smooth-no jagged, sharp frets makes moving about-especially those power chords very easy!! Great finish too!

Sound :
It’s everything you need in a Les Paul clone. It sounds clean with a 100w head, well behaved. The sound is full and with digital FX it will weep and scream with the best. it’s fed into a practice amp, Roland Crate 15 - what a combo!  the pickups were great, plugged it in a marshall mg100 and it can get really. Switched for Metallica or Rock. Only one have weakness is volume controls don’t seem to work very good but is still OK !!

Value:
The guitar is easily worth hundreds more. It is easily as good as a Gibson, the best sounding for the look is beautiful but it’s a silvertone with a good price. Check Latest Price.

Ease of Use:
It is very easy to play this guitar indeed, like others have said its just pick it up plug in and shred. You might need to adjust the action. Mine was a little too low. It was fine for the beginning. I will adjust it a little when I would need to put new strings on.

Desirability:
It’s shaped like a Gibson Les Paul. A very desirable guitar that not everyone can afford. The SSL3 is the next best thing. The cherry burst finish is beautiful. The shape, visual appeal, quality, and price, are this guitars features that you want. Looks great, plays great, slides easy, and very sexy.

Overall:
This guitar is very well made. It is durable, it is playable, it sounds good, and it is VERY affordable. You expect this to cover my Paul needs for some time. The only reason may get a different manufactures version is to have a different color
