ESP LTD F50 Electric Guitar

esp ltd f50 ESP LTD F50 Electric GuitarBolt-on Maple neck. Humbuckers.

Leave is to ESP to deliver a guitar design as radical as the F50 at a price like this. They load with hot LH-100 humbuckers for a powerful sound, and provide a 24-fret neck with extra jumbo frets that make it easy to play. The string-thru-body design adds even more tone and sustain. Other features include a Maple neck, Tune-o-matic bridge and Black hardware.

Feature:
The features are very good. It didn’t come with any accessories. The only thing you really need on it is a whammy bar. It is awesome for playing rhythm. Has a three-way switch, tone and volume control knobs to get the sound you really want. Doesn’t have anything useless. Wish it had a whammy bar tho. 24 extra jumbo frets and a very unique look, otherwise pretty straight forward on the features. Cool design but a tremolo bar would of been handy.

With a tone and pickup selector on the guitar, many different sounds are available, the light weight allows the guitar to be played for long periods with ease, and the 24 frets allow for more notes than many other guitars. 3-way switch, tone, and volume standard could have an equalizer (2 or 3 knobs).

Quality:
This guitar seems to be like a rock, it is solid, and it seems to be very endurable. Would definitely use this on the road. Very well put together. Very durable, and the paint doesn’t chip off quite as easily as other guitars you have owned. Had dropped it so many times you can’t believe it still works. It barely has a dent and is impossible to scratch! The best for the price rang. The finish is beautiful and the shape is hand carved. The pickups aren’t good quality, however they do sound good. didn’t have any trouble with the tuners.

Sound:
It sounds like a Gibson. Very punchy tone and a lot of nice distortion. The sound is amazing. It has a nice clean sound when both pickups are on but it also has an amazing distorted. When distorted, or not, the guitar just sounds great. Can get a really heavy sound. Keep it in a low-c-tuning. Sounds like fug gin thunder. Can be used for mellow tones, but much more compatible with aggressive tones, sounds better live than recorded (although this may be due to my recording equipment rather than the guitar itself) Excellent for solos and backing guitar pieces alike.

Ease of Use:
This is a very playable guitar. very easy to use! a great beginner’s guitar that an expert will appreciate also! The neck is so smooth and amazing. Absolutely love it. You plug it in and go. Pick it up, the touch is really nice! great feeling neck, and start rock in. Simple as that. Figured out how to use this guitar in 5 seconds, literally. This guitar feels great, it’s so smooth. The only problem is a small point that has a tendency to jab your knee.

Value:
YES TOTALLY IT IS PERFECY FOR THE PRICE OR EVEN HIGHER. This is a very good price for this quality instrument. The total  payed was less than $169.95 – $199 at my local music store. Check Latest Price.

Desirability:
This fiddle is crazy as hell nice shape but it takes time to get used to it ltd never fails when it comes to design. The design is freaking awesome. It’s a really fast guitar to play, pick it up, and start rocking. Simple as that. The shape is just amazing. Looks very aggressive, an obvious metal guitar. Sweet looking. Heck yeah. Would recommend the F-250 (better pickups and a trmlo bridge). The red color is just beautiful. Looks great on stage. The red color is just beautiful. Looks great on stage.

Overall:
Overall it is better than average. Looks are not everything as this guitar shows. All in all this gitfiddle is really nice definitely a good deal for only $169.95 you should run out and pick it up no doubt its show worthy. It is great for all skill levels. Great guitar to grow into for beginners and a great guitar for experienced players to pick up and just play. Very satisfied with this guitar. Really sexy guitar with the features you need, great sound and of excellent quality and value. sweet, guitar, might have to switch pickups eventually, ill go with emgs.

This guitar will always satisfy you and if you do need another guitar it will ddefinetly be this one the F-250. May upgrade the pick-ups at some point, but they’re pretty darn good as is.

Peavey Predator Plus Electric Guitar

peavey predator plus Peavey Predator Plus Electric GuitarPeavey guitars represent the best elements of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. As one of the few remaining American guitar manufacturers, Peavey blends carefully selected woods, hardware and electronics to make an instrument they are proud to offer, and you can be proud to own. The line has expanded to reflect the diverse nature of today’s music. Regardless of style, there is a Peavey guitar created to provide you with years of satisfying performance.

Here’s a great combination of features and value. Peavey builds the Predator Plus HB with dual humbucking pickups for raw power whether your playing leads or rhythm. They also fit the Predator with the best bridge in the business — a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. It’s a world-class whammy bar that stays in tune and you rarely find it on guitars in this price range. Other features include 25-1/2 in. scale, body binding, and high quality sealed, die-cast tuning machines.

Feature:
Has everything you need for heavier styles of music. Dual humbuckers, 3-way switch, Floyd Rose with locking nut. Got the topaz blue. On the net do this guitar any justice at all. Looks almost navy blue at some angles. Brighter straight on, with more metallic showing in bright light. Nice gloss. Headstock is gloss black on the front and more nicely shaped than the one shown in the photo. It came with a tremolo kit which can fit. It’s not quite a Strat shape.

Quality:
Have to give it a lower mark here. On the good side. Every part of this guitar seems to be of much higher quality than you’d expect for the price. The neck, pickups, Floyd Rose, and electronics all seem excellent. The finish is nicer than you expected and has no flaws. If you look closely, you can see where different parts of the body were joined. No big deal on a $200.00 guitar though. On the bad side. Bridge pickup is just flopping around in there.

Don’t know yet if they just adjusted it past the end of the screws, or if there’s something missing. Absolutely no attention paid to setup at all. When I brought the strings up to pitch, the bridge came up very high. Terrible action. Guitar was made in Indonesia, but what you’ve heard about Indonesian guitars is true to some extent. Going to have to remove the strings and see what the deal is with the bridge pickup. Floyd Rose is so far out of whack it will take a pro a good while to get it perfect.

Sound:
Still needs quite a bit of setup (see quality), but so far the stock pickups are sounding pretty good. Just as good if not better than the stock pickups on much pricier guitars. No “squealing”. You actually like the overall tone of the instrument. Not too bright sounding on the higher notes, but certainly not muffled or muddy.

Ease of Use:
Love the neck. A smidge chunkier than the one on ESP. Jumbo frets. Feels real good so far. Neck is arrow-straight. Can get harmonics anywhere on the neck. Can tell that after a good setup this guitar will play like butter.

Value:
After a good setup. It is very cheap for a quality guitar. You do believe the sound, tuning stability, and playability, will be WAY better than what you can get for the money elsewhere. Minus a point for REALLY needing a setup. Check Latest Price.

Desirability:
It looked really sharp when unpacked it . Black looks really good with the white pick guard. It saw an old video of Hendrix playing a black Strat at Monterey and screamed out to kids “this man’s got Dad’s guitar”.

Overall:
I’ll give it a 9 overall… The setup is truly horrible. Loose pickup,  but the fact is the neck’s straighter, the sound is better stock, and it stays in tune better than a guitar. The blue finish is pretty sharp if you like that sort of thing. The price is pretty amazing for what you get.
