What is the meaning trivia? The original Latin (tri = “three”, and via = “way”, “road”), plural of trivium ‘place where three roads meet’, especially as a place of public resort.

In the 1960s years ago, the word “trivia” was popularized by Columbia University student ED Goodgold and Dab Carlinsky, who created the earliest inter-collegiate quiz bowls that tested culturally significant yet ultimately unimportant fact, which they dubbed “trivia contest”.

Quiz bowl (also known as Quiz bowl, Scholastic Bowl, Brain Bowl, Academic Team, Academic Varsity Bowl, Academic Challenge, Whiz Quiz, etc) is a question game family and answers on all topics of human knowledge, commonly played in high school and college. The game is played with a lockout buzzer system between some numbers of teams, most commonly two teams of four players each. A moderator reads questions to the teams, whose players endeavor to buzz in first with the correct answer, scoring points for their team.

The quiz bowls is game as “Trivia” was in a Columbia Daily Spectator column published on February 5, 1965 was held in Columbia’s Ferris Booth Hall on March 1 of that year.

In the 1960s Goodgold and Carlinsky produced books which explain about trivia (the book was an extension of the pair’s Columbia and was followed by other Goodgold and Carlinsky trivia titles) and More Trivial Trivia in Columbia (the authors criticized practitioners who were “indiscriminate enough to confuse the flower of Trivia with the weed of minutiae), which achieved a ranking on the New York Time best seller list.

If you want try such online trivia games you can go to http://www.triviamania.com/. You will meet an exciting trivia games that will really put anyone with trivia skills to the test. The first game is All-In Trivia, a poker-style trivia game where you can bet, bluff, or fold. The second is First-2-Five, a game where the first player to answer five questions correctly wins. You can challenge your friends, or anyone else playing online at the time, to a real-time online trivia showdown.

Guitar is a popular musical instrument. Modern guitar is played by Romans around 40 AD. We can divide guitars into two categories acoustic and electric. Basically the part of both acoustic and electric guitar are same.

Before we start to learn how to play guitar, we need to know the guitar parts first. You must know the parts well. After you know the parts well you can tune and learn to play guitar well.

Strings
A normal guitar has six strings. Metal strings are used by electric guitar. Nylon strings are used by acoustic guitar. String is the important part of guitar. By picking or plucking the strings, guitar produces the notes of the guitar. Without strings, guitar can’t produce any sound.

Frets
Frets are the small metal that divides the guitar into sections from top to bottom. The fret location is calculated by specific mathematical formula. Pressing a string a fret against fret will make a string’s vibrating length different. The different of vibrating length will make a different sound when the string is picked.

Headstock
Headstock is located at the end of the guitar neck. It’s the most top part of the guitar. The tuning pegs are located in this area.

Tuning Pegs
Tuning Pegs are parts where user allows adjusting the pitch of the strings.

Nut
The small strip where located at where the headstock meets the neck. Usually nut is made from bone, plastic or other medium hard material.

Neck
Neck is the longest part of the guitar where the frets and strings are located.

Body
Body is the largest part of the guitar. In acoustic guitar there is a sound whole in the center of the body.

If you already know that parts you can start to learn how to play guitar.

What do you need to make your own guitar ringtone?

Start “Sound Recorder” software. (Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder). Press record button, play your guitar and start recording.

Record your guitar sound about 1-2 minutes. Save as .wav file.

Above recording steps is the primitive way to make your own ringtone. To get best result you can download more advanced recording software. You can create many guitar ringtone styles. You can create classical guitar ringtones, hip hop ringtones, even dance ringtones with your guitar.

Just found this website, MusicNation.com. This website is an online music community. Bands can upload videos. Bands have friends and fans. As an artist account you will be able to enter the competitions and connect with your fan base.

What you can do with regular account? Like myspace, you can add friends, add galleries, comments other profile, create your own blog, upload media, create events, and more available features.

So you are looking to buy a Fender electric guitar? The answer is depends on what kind of music you play. If you play mostly rock and want something with a great sound, and of course one that looks really good cheap electric guitar, you probably need Fender guitar.

Fender Squier

If you’re a beginner and just start to learn electric guitar. You should buy a cheap electric guitar one. A Squire Strat would do just fine. The fretboard isn’t too sharp or heavy and it’s a nice all-rounder. If you’re near a Guitar Center, they usually go for around $200. But it is not recommended to buy this cheap one, if you want to learn seriously.

Fender Stratocaster

If you experienced player and need more quality sound with less price, you can try Fender Stratocasters (Strat) which is made in Mexico that are very affordable and have a good sound. This mexican made guitar is cost a half than the American made one.

The Japanese made Fender Stratocasters is the most good one. Off course the price is higher than American made. The American made, is enough if you can’t find the Japanese made.

For more Fender guitar reviews and price, please click here!

Which Fender Guitar is Better?

There are three famous fender type, Squier, Telecaster, and Stratocaster (strat). Most Fender users prefer to use Stratocaster, it means Stratocaster the best one. The Japanese and American made is the best quailty of stratocaster. There are many models of Fender Strat, the standard Fender Stratocaster is the least expensive one, it cost only about $300 – $400.

Please note that there are a Squier Telecaster series and Squier Stratocaster Series. These Squier series is defferent with Telecaster series and Stratocaster series. This Squier series is cheap guitar actually not made by Fender itself, but made by licensed manufacturer. It is not recommended to buy Squier series.

Conclusion

Squier is the cheap Fender guitar version. It is not recommended to buy this one. If you just begin to learn electric guitar, it is ok to buy this one.

Stratocaster model is recommended. The Mexican series strat is cheap and good enough and recommended for beginner. If you have money and you are experienced you should buy the American series one.

For more information, click here!

As beginner guitar player, you probably better to learn accoustic guitar at first. If you know how to do with your guitar and you feel happy with it, you can go to learn electric guitar.

To learn electric guitar you need extra money, you will need new electric guitar. Electric guitar is more expensive than accoustic guitar. You will need amp to, the better amp cost higher.

If you want to master electric guitar, you must learn hard. You can go to music school nearby your home. Learn from the master, and you will be a master someday.
