Gibson Nighthawk 09 (USA 2009 Limited Run Series)

Gibson Nighthawk Limited Run Electric Guitar

The Nighthawk
This lusty guitar, which resembles its larger Les Paul cousin but with more defined curves, has become a cult favorite since it was discontinued in 1999, after only six years in production. The original Nighthawk was conceived of in response to the demand for a more modern silhouette and a multitude of tone options.

Today’s version is still all about a guitarist keeping his options open. With two volume controls, a master tone knob and two heavy-duty pickups, guitarists can experiment with endless sounds. If tone alone weren’t enough to carry this instrument, Gibson luthiers have labored to create an exquisite-looking guitar

It features a gorgeous non-arched AAA maple top on a bound, thin-contoured, single cutaway body and a 22-fret bound rosewood neck on a set mahogany neck. The Limited Run Nighthawk ’09 is loaded with two of Gibson’s most outstanding pickups to produce a rare combination of tones. Widely known as Gibson’s first successful single-coil pickup, the lean and mean P-90 (neck) offers a stellar combination of high output and biting treble response.

Gibson Limited Edition Les Paul with Piezo

Taking the best from today’s advancements in guitar technology, the Les Paul Piezo has been armed with L.R. Baggs’ best-selling piezo bridge and a pair of the ever popular active EMG 85’s. Top metal guitarists favor this choice in pickups for its crystal-clear soloing capabilities and inexhaustible variety of tones, while the piezo saddles offer the ability to quickly tap realistic acoustic-like tones on stage or in the studio—or to blend magnetic and acoustic outputs for a near-fathomless array of tones.

Limited Editions
Limited to a run of 1,000 instruments, the Gibson Limited Edition Les Paul with L.R. Baggs Piezo includes some very disinctive features that you’re sure to love. For starters, it includes an onboard piezo pickup system, which is integrated into the bridge.

This pickup provides an airy, transparent acoustic vibe that sounds amazing — especially when you pair it with this LP’s incredible humbucking electric guitar tones! Both the humbuckers and the L.R. Baggs piezo pickup have dedicated outputs, so you can set up an amazing stereo rig with this guitar.

The Les Paul Piezo is equipped with two of the rock world’s best-loved active pickups, alongside a Gold L.R. Baggs piezo bridge. With EMG 85’s in the neck and bridge position, both with polished stainless steel covers, this pickup package will help you to create the best leads of your life, with outstanding versatility thanks to the piezo electronics.
