Ibanez RG1527 Prestige 7-String Electric Guitar

Ibanez RG1527 Prestige 7-String Electric Guitar5-piece neck. Edge Pro 7 bridge.

Since 1987, the Ibanez RG has been the weapon of choice for visiting sonic mayhem on the metal masses. With the right choice of pickups, flat and fast necks and double-locking trems, the RG has divebombed and crunched its way to classic status. To the RG’s lethal combination of features, RG Prestige models add the comfortable, rounded feel of Prestige neck finishing, drop-dead good looks and top-shelf electronics and hardware.

Feature:
The guitar comes with the (edge pro 7) knock off of the Floyd Rose its a very good term and once you get use to it, it is a very big part of your everyday use. Only compare with a zr7.

The only small complaint is that the cut out for the 24th fret is a hair short so if you have longer fingers your in luck. The wizard neck is so comfortable and fast it almost plays itself.  Almost no problems making the jump from 6 string to 7 string and now. The pickups are really nice and there are no dead spots on the neck. The term is as good. Well, actually better than the old edge trems that I’m so used to.

Of the included accessories, it was interesting to note that the whammy bar isn’t the screw-on type, but rather then push-in / pull-out style.

Quality:
The color is the only complaint but it isn’t bright like the pictures. Its more toned and could be mistaken for black. It’s a very sturdy guitar very reliable. It sounds just as good in the studio as it does on stage. This guitar should last a good 10 to 15 years. These guitars are very well built, especially the Prestige lines.

Sound:
Its really good if your into metal progressive rock and its also good for most hard rock its a perfect guitar when u have like a fender which u can use for the different type of music. This instrument is versatile as well as powerful you can use it for just about anything. Just by backing off the volume knob or tone knob, you can clean this up even with high gain settings and get nice strat tones or completely clean it up and the low b almost has a piano like tone to it. You will really impressed.

Ease of Use:
The sound pretty much sounds amazing right when you plug it in, the IBZ pickups are not match for Emg 707’s but they hit perfection when putting these pickups with this wood. Its rather easy to modify this guitar. Its really easy to use the guitar, has a very fast neck amazing body. The manual is very useful the only learning curve is the seventh string but you should get use to that if you just practice.

It’s your standard 5-switch, 2-knob, 2-pickup Ibanez with 24 frets. Once you stop trying to wear it like a hat, it’s pretty easy to figure out what to do with it. The neck is extremely comfortable and fast and the trem never knocks it out of tune.

Value:
This is the best 7 have ever played, it is worth every penny. Its pretty much worth every cent. Check Latest Price.

Desirability:
It looks awesome as u can see diff colors would be good.

Overall:
Try it out…if u even like it slightly at first just get it…the instrument will grow on you.
This instrument is satisfied for a very long time. Only dislike the color but if you think about it, You’re not buying the color your buying quality and sound.

Ibanez RG321MH Electric Guitar

Ibanez RG321MH Electric GuitarMahogany body. Three-piece maple neck. INF3 and INF4 humbucking pickups.

For over 15 years, the RG series has been the undisputed standard in guitars for the hard rock player. The Wizard II is 2mm thicker than the super-thin, super-flat Ibanez Wizard. The mahogany body provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain. The jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording. The fixed bridge design offers thru-body stringing for stronger tone and sustain.

Feature:
The Ibanez RG321MH electric has the perfect combination of fast, 24-fret Wizard neck, the right pickups and pickup placement, and fixed bridge design. It’s nice, simple and reliable. Have 5 way switch, 2 knobs, and it never goes out of tune. The RG321MHGN Ibanez guitar offers the simplicity and sustain of a fixed bridge guitar with through-body stringing design for increased sustain and tighter string tension.

Quality:
Its a sturdy feeling guitar, the truss rod reacts well to adjustments and string tensions, the frets are well dressed, and all the internal wiring is well organized leaving plenty of room for any changes you want to make. The surface of the body is the cheapest part, every thing else.

The fact that it has no real paint job is a bummer but this thing takes a good thrashing and sounds like it to.

Sound:
This guitar is one of the best Ibanez’s has a good solid heavy sound due to the fixed bridge and humbucker setup, which is great for heavy metal, rock, funk and blues. Good Sound stands mid-way b/w Metal and acoustic for pure metal. Wonderfully warm and buttery smooth bottom end with easy to hear notes. Standard dimarzio designed pickups do a good job.

Value:
Its a very good deal for the price. For the little amount of money you paid for this guitar is priceless, brand new, heavy sounding, fast playing, esthetically appealing piece of equipment. Check latest price.

Ease of Use:
Wonderful feeling guitar, the balance is great when you sit down, or strap it on and stand up and rock out, plays REAL fast top to bottom. The jumbo frets make the guitar feel real fast as well as the bare wood feel on the neck. No sticky feeling you would get with a gloss finish the cleaning and maintenance of this piece is nice due to the satin finish. NO FINGER SMUDGES. Easy to use a ZOOM GFX 5 really good one.

Desirability:
the guitar is actually pretty plain matte black satin finish, no bindings, no flashy inlays, gunmetal knobs and pickup rings, but the naturalness gives it a sort of girl next door kind a beauty. Which is a refreshing breeze compared to the “makeup” showpieces like i had mentioned before, there is timeless beauty in simplicity. For beginners, hobbyist’s, or players this is the guitar for you the price is perfect.

Overall:
Missing a few special things like whammy bars and things, its an all around good guitar for beginners and vets alike.

The prices make YOU GET SO MUCH GUITAR FOR SO LITTLE MONEY. The way this guitar is playing and sounding now, and will not bother to look for a different guitar for as long as this is going to be built and distributed. If it was lost or stolen, you will replace it with the same guitar the next step up which is the RGT42DXFX. Its pretty much the same guitar with a few more perks.

Features:
Wizard II neck
3pc. maple neck material
Mahogany body
24 jumbo frets
Bound rosewood finger board
Fixed bridge
IBZ INF3 (H) Neck PU
IBZ INF4 (H) Bridge PU

Ibanez GRG170DX Electric Guitar

Ibanez GRG170DX Electric GuitarBasswood body. Maple neck. Two humbuckers and one single-coil.

Don’t settle for less. With Ibanez less bucks doesn’t mean less looks or less tone. Ibanez GRX guitars have the humbuckers you need for heavy rhythms and riffs; and exciting finishes worthy of a pro axe. To make sure none of the great tone gets lost in the sauce, GRX 6-string models feature the FAT-10 tremolo.

Basswood is a comparatively lightweight wood, which makes it very comfortable for extended playing. With a good balance of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character.

Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain.

Feature:
This had an alright amount of accessories. It came with a cable, manual, spring, and a bar. The bars really good but the cable broke within a day. The pickups on this guitar is very nice. This guitar is made out of basswood so its sort of light. Its thing and get to play solos. The twin humbuckers with the single in the middle is a nice touch. gives it a really rocky sound nice shark tooth inlays and awesome white binding. Considerably nice trem. The tremolo sometimes have  problem.

Quality:
It was great right out of the box there were no missing or broken parts no blemishes. This guitar is strong, dropped it 2 times heavily on concrete and it still sounds and looks great and it still sounds great. But turning the tone knob all the way is almost like an off button.

3 piece basswood. Solid Body. A brilliant finish. Jumbo frets, they don’t tend to bend much. The tremolo system, this guitar is put together well and mine does not have any blemishes or loose parts. Surprising of the quality despite this thing being made in Indonesia. As with any guitar, if it is taken care of, it will last.

Sound:
The sound is sweet and crisp EVEN though the amp was junk.  The two humbuckers makes the guitar sound great, but with the single coil pickup in the middle makes the guitar really sound at its best. Good sound in various switch positions, from clear to distort.

Ease of Use:
It’s a little hard. The fret board isn’t easy to move your fingers on and it untunes itself for some odd reason, and the bridge sucks (the whammy bar also messes it up the tuning) besides that, its very good for beginners and those in the middle of the intermediate stage.
5 options on the pick up switches. You can get a lot of combination using the HSH combination. It can handle rhythm & lead sections very easily. The plug it in to a good amp, and it will stand right up and even pass most in the same price range.

Value:
It’s definitely worth more than it’s price. This guitar is well worth the money. A good quality guitar for the money. You have to trust, this guitar is better than a RG270 series. Check latest price.

Desirability:
This guitar looks and plays and sounds amazing. The amazing color, and the style are all amazing. the Candy Apple Red and with the shark tooth inlays, this is a sharp looking guitar as an extra to play.

Overall:
If you have confidence for Ibanez, this is a good choice for you to get a RG with an affordable price, this guitar is pretty lovely. This is guitar for beginners and it can be improved.
