Flamed Maple top. 2 humbuckers.

The Les Paul guitar is synonymous with Rock and Roll. No other guitar gives you the power, the sustain and the sound of a Les Paul. If it’s got Les Paul’s signature on the headstock, it’s the real thing… Accept no substitutes! Authorized by Gibson USA!

Feature:
This guitar has everything you need. A full stack of tone and volume controls, dual hum buckers, a set neck and an extremely nice finish. Looks awesome!!

For the price range, the cosmetics are very nice; the color and texture of the cherry flame finish looks really cool! The only minor things that occurred were with the pickup toggle switch and the strap lock post near the neck; these are common problems that occur even with Gibson’s. Both were easily fixed by using epoxy to affix the strap post back in place, and taking off the toggle switch and re-soldering it; both are fine now without any further problems. The pickups are factory stock Gibson PAF’s and they sound great; I’d never replace them unless they went out. You would tested both pickups on an output meter and they were “hot”, peaking at 15; that’s pretty good (and loud) for stock pickups! Click here for more features!

Quality:
The quality of the electronics can be improved on this guitar to level it with competition.
Sounds like a much more expensive guitar. Very clean when distortion is off, sounds really great when heavy distortion is on. Great with effects, sounds better than indie’s, rock, fenders.

Sound:
It sounds pretty good right out of the box, but the suggestion may you would strongly replacing the strings and taking it for a professional setup, it makes a big difference. The wood is great, and you can get good tone from it, there are better Les Paul, with better wood and pickups for more money, but this should satisfy all players who don’t have extra money to throw around. Your guitar teacher will very impress with this guitar.

Value:
Best guitar on the market for the money. Well worth the price compared to Gibson Les Paul. Check latest price!

Desirability:
Everyone who sees this baby wants to pick up and play it. Cause this is beautiful color (Wine Red), excellent finish.

Ease of Use:
This guitar is very playable it has a great action on it and the neck is perfect. It’s easy to get great sounds. But for beginners so a little hard work because once you’ve tried this you can’t adapt to crappy guitars.

Overall:
Great guitar, good price, nice craftsmanship, good sound, good looks, and for having fun!!! Playing in a band a little more serious about your music get the real Epiphone Les Pauls sound good look good can’t go wrong with them!

2 humbuckers. Maple top.

If you can handle everything about the Les Paul except the price, check this out. Engineers designed this modern classic with the arched top and fast neck of the best Les Pauls. It has an arched, figured curly Maple, carved top in faded sunburst finishes for that great LP look. And like all Les Pauls, features a solid glued neck joint for great sustain and stability. These guitars are built to 100% Gibson specifications. Since 1910 Epiphone has been building quality instruments and this Les Paul Standard will only enhance their great reputation. More Info!

Feature:
The features of this instrument are really good also the toggle witch from Trebble to Rythym and combination is a great feature that fits well with many styles. The hardware and components are perfect, nothing is wrong with it. It included a gator case which is worth about 120 bucks. It also included a free cord. Click here for more feature!

Quality:
This guitar is great, but has notice two things. First, the pickup switch seems cheap; it wiggles from side to side as well as up and down. Second, under the bridge, the varnish didn’t get applied there, and might you feel and see bare wood. Other than that, this guitar is great.

Sound:
Incredible sound!, the pickups are great, it has a lot better sustain than others. Being an epiphone, it still delivers that thick, gritty, heavy metal sound you expect from a les paul. Ability to play a lot of southern rock and hard rock and it able fits them both. The rhythm is nice for more bluesy sounding

Value:
For the price you can’t go wrong. This guitar is definitely worth the price, but the Les Paul 100 is just as good for eight hundred dollars. The price of everything on this site is so low. Click here for latest price!

Ease of Use:
It was very easy to get great sounds. Just turn it on and you will fall in love with it. Treble or rhythm whatever fits you. It is perfect for your personal taste of metal/ modern rock. Tone controls help to modify to your liking. Extremely playable axe that is very forgiving and the raised bridge makes it a breeze for soloing.

Desirability:
This guitar looks really good. The top is the best. Although it needed to be waxed, it is a good look. The wood grain and color on the actual guitar is 1,000 times better than the website does justice to it.

Overall:
This is a great buy for anyone interested in getting a Les Paul, This is amazing guitar for its price sounds good. Its looks great, plays amazingly!, has a real down and clear tone and is well built.
Alder body. Standard hardware.

Alder body, 3 single-coil pickups and standard synchronized tremolo — it’s where the tradition began and still carries on today. Check the price.

Features:
It gets some pretty decent classic rock sounds, and with the right pickup selection you can get a decent metal tone out of the pups. The neck is fast and the action came set perfect. With that being said…. This guitar was made very well, it plays Great and looks Fantastic! It makes you want to play it.

Quality:
The natural wood grain is clearly visible under the lighter brown portions of the burst. The maple neck is strong and ‘fast’ and the electronics/tuners do their job without any problems so far.

Tone/volume knobs and switch all work just fine. The pickups aren’t too bad, but it really depends on taste. With the stock strings and stock pickups, it’s a decent guitar. It really comes down to taste. Right now, it sounds beautifully bluesy to me with everything stock, but the pickups can be a bit muddy and tinny at the same time.

Sound:
There is a difference between ceramic and alnico magnet pickups. It isn’t just the differences in their magnetic qualities. It is the fact that alnico magnet pickups have 6 small magnets and ceramic magnet pickups have 1 magnet with 6 steel pole pieces. If the presence or absence of tone pickups in the chain affects the tone.

Value:
A great guitar for the money spent. Check latest price.

Ease of Use:
These aren’t very well crafted. that translates to an uncomfortable neck profile and so-so frets. But overall its OK.

Overall:
Great for beginners and for long time users, the recommend changing the pickups and tuners.

The ESP LTD AX50 is an EXTREME guitar to fit your EXTREME style of music! The wild AX series body style will definitely get the audiences attention. But that’s just the start. The 0 AX5 has an agathis body, a 24-fret bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays, black hardware, a string thru body tune-o-matic bridge, and an ESP LH-100 pickup set.

Feature:
It basically has what you need for a beginner or pro. Two humbuckers, tone and volume knobs, and the guitar comes with a good magazine so you con buy more stuff.
could do with a tremolo arm and some cool fret markers, but you can put those on yourself if you got the kaching$.

The only reason i gave this guitar a 9 is because it came with a toggle pickup switch which you normally not a fan of but that doesn’t change anything. This guitar in silver and the black hardware on this beast is sweet. Pretty sweet looking, No accessories…. but that’s okay.

Quality:
It is a nice build , a bolt-on neck, but bolted on very good. it is matte and not shiny and wall scrapes will happen and show much easier , as it is matte. The build is strong and parts do not come loose easily.

Everything seems fine here, my only complaint is that the guitar just seems too light, which makes it feel quite cheap. As far as the actual quality of the guitar is concerned though, everything seems great except the tuning machines are a little sloppy and not as smooth, however, they’ve had no tuning problems or the like. There practically steal cables.

Sound:
This guitar actually sounds really good for the price, especially with high gain using the bridge pickup. I own an esp eclipse as well, and unfortunately the eclipse just blows this thing out of the water. This guitar is definitely made for metal or hardrock. some lead work, but probably best suited to rhythm playing. But for the price, you really can’t go wrong as far as sound is concerned.

Value:
This product is ridiculously cheap for how sweet this guitar is. Great product for the price. Probably not worth $250. They own a BC.RICH warlock and i got that for $50 less. Check latest price.

Ease of Use:
The guitar has amazing playability, extremely fast neck, 25.5 scale, great fret spacing. The boy actually won an ax in a contest on the ESP website, so the boys down there did a custom setup on mine, d’addario 10-46’s, no fret buzz, low action, needless to say its perfect to play.

It is actually very comfy to play. For sitting. It has a nice rounded leg spot and for standing, its still comfy. a comfy strap would be a good idea, too. The neck is nice and relatively flat, thus making it easier to hold. So easy to use standing up.

Desirability:
There are guitars that are much better out there, but don’t get you wrong this is one great guitar!!! Everything is sexy about this guitar. And so freak cheap.

Overall:
Experience was great, especially the time it took to get here(3 days!)the price(sweet and low) and the look(absolutely amazing). It is an overall amazing guitar and the boy highly recommend it. The boy would slap a tremolo bridge on there and rock away to high heaven. The thing you like most about it is the look and playability sound is a bit weak. , really light, good for gigging, comfortable to play for the most part., The boy least would have to be that it’s too good to be true.

If you are a beginner you want this AX, if you consider yourself pro you might want to do some more shopping for a higher quality guitar. But if you want it go for it and buy it.
